The 2024 Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo with 435 pk is the rear-wheel-drive version fitted with the larger Performance Battery Plus. The permanent-magnet electric motor on the rear axle delivers up to 435 pk and 420 Nm with Launch Control. Power is transmitted via a two-speed transmission on the rear axle, enabling the Sport Turismo to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h.
The Performance Battery Plus has a gross capacity of 105 kWh, of which 97 kWh is net capacity. Thanks to its 800V architecture, the Taycan can charge at up to 320 kW DC. Under optimal conditions, it takes approximately 18 minutes to charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent. The official WLTP range is between approximately 550 and 650 kilometres, depending on the configuration.
The combination of a low centre of gravity, direct electric drive and air suspension gives it the handling of a sporty Porsche, but the bodywork clearly offers greater practicality. There is 446 litres of boot space at the rear, expandable to 1,212 litres, supplemented by an 84-litre frunk.
